If your hair falls within the 3A–4C curl types, it may require a more specialised approach to hydration, shaping, and styling.
To honour that, we offer a different appointment process one with more time, tailored techniques, and a dedicated curl professional trained in coily textures.

What makes the Curl Cut Experience different from a regular cut and finish?
The Curl Cut Experience is designed specifically for curly hair. Your curls will be cut dry, in their natural state, to ensure precision and enhance their shape. You’ll also receive a full lesson on how to cleanse, condition, and style your curls. Please allow two hours for this transformative experience.
Can you cut very coily or textured hair?
We are currently still learning how to master extremely coily hair, but watch this space
What products do you use for curly hair?
We use Professional Curl products, which are formulated to hydrate and nourish your curls without weighing them down. And yes, they smell incredible!
What if my hair is more wavy than curly?
If your hair sits more in the wavy range (2A–2C), the Curl Cut Experience may not always be the most suitable service.
Wavy hair behaves differently from curls and coils, so the techniques, cutting approach, and styling plan can vary depending on your natural pattern, density, and how your hair moves when product-free.
For this reason, we always assess your hair in its clean, dry, natural state before cutting. This allows us to see exactly how your texture sits and recommend the most suitable cut and routine for your hair type.

Terms and Conditions
If you're new to Simply Hair Salon or changing your colour we recommend a consultation before booking.
You can do this online by filling in an online consultation form or booking a free 15 minute consultation on our online booking system.
Your hair condition, your health and safety are our priority, so you will likely be asked to pop in the salon for a skin test and possibly a strand test.
We require a card capture to secure all colour bookings.
You can cancel your appointment up to 48 hours before and you will not be charged a 50% cancellation fee.
We understand things happen and sometimes you have to cancel last minute.
In these circumstances, we always endeavour to fill the appointment space but if we cannot fill that space we will have to charge your card.
