At Simply Hair, our extension services are designed to feel seamless, considered, and expertly guided from start to finish.
As extension hair is bespoke, professionally sourced, and ordered specifically for you, the following policy ensures clarity and protects your investment.

Consultation & Ordering
All extension services begin with consultation.
We offer:
Online Consultation Form – Free
A simple way to share your goals before stepping into the salon.
In-Salon Consultation – £20
A 30-minute personalised appointment including:
• Full suitability assessment
• Colour matching
• Method and quantity recommendation
• A clear transformation plan and quote
This consultation ensures you feel informed, confident, and fully clear before any hair is ordered.
Once you proceed, extension hair is ordered specifically for you.
Full payment for extension hair is required at the point of ordering.
As this is a bespoke product selected and colour matched to you, hair purchases are non-refundable once ordered, except where supplier return conditions apply.

Supplier Return Conditions
If extension packets remain completely unopened and sealed, they may be eligible for return to our supplier within 48 hours of fitting or collection.
After 48 hours, or once packaging has been opened, customised, toned, cut, or installed, extension hair cannot be returned or refunded.

Storage of Unused Extensions
For your convenience, we offer secure storage of unused extension hair following your appointment.
• Extensions are sealed and labelled
• Stored securely within the salon
• Held for up to 6 months
Storage is provided as a courtesy service.
If you would like your stored extensions returned, please email:
appointments@simplyhairchelmsford.co.uk
with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice so we can prepare them for collection.
Because extensions are stored securely and may only be accessed by your stylist, we cannot guarantee same-day retrieval requests, particularly if your stylist is not in the salon.
Simply Hair cannot accept responsibility for third-party appointment costs where retrieval notice has not been provided in line with this policy.

Maintenance & Aftercare Responsibility
Hair extensions require consistent maintenance and correct home care to protect both your natural hair and the longevity of the extension hair.
Clients are responsible for:
• Attending recommended maintenance appointments
• Following professional aftercare guidance
• Using suitable salon-grade products
Failure to follow professional guidance may impact longevity and overall results.

Removal & External Alterations
We strongly recommend professional removal and refitting at Simply Hair to protect your natural hair.
We cannot accept responsibility for damage or performance issues where extensions have been removed, altered, or refitted elsewhere.
